    Day 1. Los Angeles
    Board your evening flight to Sydney, Australia. (D)

    Day 2. In Flight
    Cross the international dateline.

    Day 3. Arrive Sydney
    Be met on arrival and check in to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner tonight.
    Three Night Stay: Sydney, Shangri-La Hotel (B,D)

    Day 4. City Sights, Harbor Cruise
    This morning, step inside the World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House during a guided tour. Then board a luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour past the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Later, discover Hyde Park and famous Bondi Beach on a guided city tour. (B,L)
    Day 5. Sydney at Leisure
    Today, enjoy the day exploring or relaxing as you choose. (B)

    Day 6. Cairns
    Fly to Cairns and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in this tropical city.
    Three Night Stay: Cairns, Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina (B,D)

    Day 7. Great Barrier Reef Cruise
    Cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef in a glass-bottom boat. View the coral and diverse range of marine life of Moore Reef, and maybe go for a snorkel or a swim. (B,L)

    Day 8. Skyrail, Kuranda, Scenic Railway, Cairns
    Ride the Skyrail Cableway over the rain forest to Kuranda. Visit a wildlife park and perhaps have a photo taken with a koala (own expense). Watch a performance by the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers the return to Cairns aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway, past waterfalls and rain forest. (B)

    Day 9. Cairns, Fly to Uluru (Ayers Rock), Uluru Base Tour, Sounds of Silence Dinner
    This morning, fly to Uluru from Cairns. Head into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for a tour of Uluru's base. See ancient Aboriginal rock art and walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. See Aboriginal artists at work at the Maruku Arts and Crafts Gallery. Tonight enjoy the Sounds of Silence dinner. Stay: Ayers Rock Resort, Sails in the Desert (B,D)

    Day 10. Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Alice Springs
    Today, visit the stunning Kata Tjuta (Olgas), a cluster of 36 unique dome formations, and learn about this sacred place from a local guide. Here, you'll walk through the domes to the majestic Walpa (Olga) Gorge, a tranquil place of much significance to local Aboriginal people. Later, re-board your coach and travel to Alice Springs.
    Stay: Alice Springs, Crowne Plaza Hotel (B)

    Day 11. Alice Springs Tour, Fly to Melbourne, City Tour, Tramcar Dinner
    On a tour of Alice Springs, visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service Base and Anzac Hill. Then board a flight for Melbourne, and on arrival take a brief city tour. Tonight, indulge in a meal aboard the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant.
    Two Night Stay: Sofitel Melbourne on Collins (B,D)

    Day 12. Melbourne at Leisure
    Today spend the day at leisure in Melbourne. There are many optional activities available such as a journey along the Great Ocean Road or a tour to Philip Island to see the famous penguin parade. Or perhaps explore Melbourne at your own pace. You could visit the Queen Victoria Market, go shopping in the city or perhaps stroll through one of the many gardens. (B)

    Day 13. Depart Melbourne
    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Los Angeles. (B)
